Heritage Door Measuring Guide
How to measure for your new Heritage doors
Precise measurements and preparation of the opening are key when ordering your French doors.
Measurements should be taken externally, brick to brick.
Take 3 width measurements, across the top, middle and bottom of the door opening. In older properties, this may very slightly, so always select the largest measurement as the width size. Repeat the process for the height, taking 3 measurements, left, centre and right. The height of the door should include the frame and external cill.
To ensure the measurements are accurate, we recommend measuring a couple of times.
If you have any questions at this stage, please consult a professional or give us a call.
